I guess these days most people do have or had some sort of pets in their life’s but why the strong statement that it should be compulsory… Well this post will open your eyes, touch your soul, stroke your heart and feed your body…take these next few minutes so everything you read here can be absorbed into your whole being 🙂
Life itself is becoming such a race and competition that most people loose the sense of what actually matters and they stop searching for their Purpose and just live life on auto-pilot.
It’s sad really, as we all have a purpose…it does not have to be HUGE, like changing the world. But once you become clear about your purpose and go with the flow towards it, life can feel amazingly easy, light and enjoyable….as it was always intended to be.
Now this might sound awkward to you now and you might be wondering what all of this has to do with having pets but bare with me and this will come full circle and feel like sipping warm cocoa next to a fire on a winters night 🙂
I myself always had pets but never really thought about it in this way. Having birds, ginnie-pigs, hamsters, cats, dogs, rats etc. definitely is a good variety and gave me an awesome perspective on the differences but it also helped me to come to the understanding, and I mean not just understanding with my conscious brain but understand it with every fiber of my being, WHY we, humans, actually have pets.
I bet most of you never thought about this before, but I am sure this will change something subconsciously how you’re looking at having pets after reading this.
You do know that man kind believes that it is superior to animals and that is the reason why humans decided to tame wild animals and make them live with us for various reasons…well mostly to serve us.
Away from their natural habitat, away from their natural ways of living and behaving….socializing them to suit our way of life. If this is right or wrong is another question in itself…today’s post is about the effect it has on us humans.
I strongly believe that if we keep in mind the naturals ways of the animal itself and give them the space to live as closely to that as possible but still be around us is the only way to make it work long term. Period!
What do I mean?
Just looking at dogs and cats for example….we have taken them so far away from their natural ways and then don’t understand and scratch our head why we can not control them.
Could you live with a tiger or a wolf?
Well maybe…if you understood how their behave in the wild and always treat them based on that, only then would this be possible really and make our end easier 🙂
But that’s not the point I am trying to point out, but the whole positive effect it has on us to be able to have these animals in our daily lives and how we can benefit from it.
It does not matter how much we, humans, try to socialize and change these critters…they will always be more wild and more free than ‘humans’. Which is actually a good thing and subconsciously I think people who have pets know that.
That is the whole reason that every single human being should have a pet…it would change society and how we live life.
Easy really….animals keep us grounded and constantly remind us of how to just go with the flow. What’s truly important and how to have fun and love unconditionally.
Are you starting to get the gist of where this is going?
At the moment I have a 10 year old daughter, 2 cats, a puppy…all while my partner works away and I am trying to run 2 businesses. Guess what happens?
Well I rather not go into details but trust me…in the end I get reminded DAILY what life is all about and if I ever stray I get knocked back into the space where it all should be. I have no choice! I learned this the hard way…lol
I absolutely love when everything is in flow and balance.
Pets have amazing impact on our mental and physical health.
Keeping us moving, connected with nature, showing us the simple side of life. They remind us what’s truly important and how we always over-complicate things. They show us how to love unconditionally and how we should try to treat each other. They show us how to get along and how not to get along.
It’s all about living in harmony with nature and life itself.
I have recently read a bunch of pet product reviews and in the process found an article showing how having pets, especially cats and dogs, is actually super beneficial regarding our inner physical health.
This society is all about being super clean, everything has be disinfected and anti-bacterial and we take away our body’s natural defense mechanism. Having pets is having us exposed to more natural dirt, which works perfectly in sync with our bodies to re-build this powerful defense mechanism the natural way.
Humans were intended to live in nature as well as the animals.
Guided by the rhythmical flow of the earth…day, night, lightness and darkness, the seasons and the changes this creates and how it effects our planet and us. Just thinking about that allows me to re-connect with who I am really. Our pets truly assist with this…don’t you agree?!
The faster this life on earth gets due to technology, the more we should be slowing down to once again see what life was meant to be like.
Way too many people have no idea and are blinded by today’s society and believe that to be the only way of life….and this is were PETS come into play.
As much as we, humans, try….we will never be able to change and mold animals completely.
I urge you all to take a minute and listen to a cat purr, watch a puppy play, observe the birds in the trees, watch the fish swim, look at the ants in action, enjoy and feel the lightness of the insect buzzing in the air.
Use your senses to connect to the animals around you and allow it to sweep you away to once again feel the importance of life itself and the simplicity and perfection of it.
Allow that to ground you and re-balance what has been thrown out by today’s way of life 🙂
Observe the animals and your pets how they live around us and with us, how they make decisions and what truly matters to them. Take an example of it so you can integrate it into your life…trust me you will feel what really matters and what does not.
Don’t be afraid to peel away the stresses and burden of every day living and be free and frisky just like our critters.
This does not mean to be foolish and irresponsible but to be free and reconnect to who you really are!
We were all meant to Live a Life We Love and Be Free 🙂
Now go and bask in the depth of freedom, be hugged by life itself knowing that all is well and allow yourself to just BE….even if it’s just for a few minutes.
The more you do this, the more you’ll feel and understand this to be the only way life was meant to be lived….and why not?!
Peace, Love and Abundance to you all
